Audubon / Downriver
Located next to the Spokane River and Riverside State park, the Audubon/Downriver neighborhood is a classic neighborhood full of rich history. In the 1800s, Native Americans used the west side of the neighborhood for trapping and fishing and the east side for trading and as their main thoroughfare for traveling. Today, the neighborhood has grown into a vibrant area with many options for local eats, outdoor concerts, shopping, outdoor recreation – such as hiking, walking, kayaking, bicycling, camping, golfing, and more.
